MEET TAQUITO!

This tiny 5-pound sweetheart is about a year old and has really started to come out of her shell. While she still prefers to approach people on her own terms, her playful, silly personality is shining more every day.

Taquito loves to romp around the yard with her foster dog siblings, especially if there are squeaky toys involved. She’s food motivated, full of playful energy, and when she’s feeling extra happy, she prances around like a tiny deer—it’s absolutely adorable.

She can still be shy with new people and may keep her distance at first, but she’s building confidence and beginning to engage more and more. With patience, a calm environment, and a little time, her sweet and curious nature really comes through.

We’re guessing she’s a Miniature Pinscher and Chihuahua mix. She’s doing well in her crate, loves a cozy bed, and is happiest snuggled up in a warm blanket after a good play session.
