Volunteer roles available
We are an all-volunteer nonprofit with a mission to save dogs and find them wonderful new homes. We are always looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks including:
Fundraising
Dog handling at events
Becoming a foster home
Event planning and production
Writing grants in collaboration with the Board of Directors
Transporting dogs to vet
Training dogs
Veterinary services
Grooming services
Photography and videography
Volunteer orientation
We ask all our volunteers to complete an orientation before starting their work with us. This allows us to get to know you, establish expectations for success, and ensure that everyone understands the protocols. Orientation times and locations will be posted with our events.
Youth volunteers
We love our youth volunteers. What better way to engage our community than by showing future generations how to make a difference. We hope to help our youth volunteers become well-informed, compassionate animal advocates. All volunteers under 18 need a parent or guardian’s signature to give permission to volunteer with us.
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult for the duration of the time they are volunteering. For safety reasons, we do not allow volunteers under the age of 10.
