MEET MARCEL!

Marcel is a 1-year-old, 11-pound chi/terrier mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. We pulled him from a rural shelter where he was very shy and shut down, but once he got into a foster home, everything changed.

With a little time and patience, Marcel has truly blossomed into a sweet, affectionate little boy who loves being close to his people. It’s been so special to watch his personality come out as he learns he’s safe.

He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with toys, making him a great companion for a home that can continue to help build his confidence.

Marcel is ready for a forever family who will give him the love and reassurance he deserves.
