MEET JOCELYN!

At just 11 pounds, this 1 year 9 month old Chihuahua mix runs on pure enthusiasm. She wakes up ready for the day, ready for attention, and very ready to tell you how happy she is to see you. If you like dogs that greet you like you’ve returned from a year at sea every single time you walk into the room, Joycelyn is your girl.

She’s extremely affectionate and loves being close to her people. Expect enthusiastic greetings, happy wiggles, and a dog who would very much prefer to be near her person whenever possible.

Joycelyn is crate trained and does well settling in her crate. She’s also very food motivated, which makes training much easier and gives her future family a great foundation to work with. She’s a quick learner when snacks are involved.

She’s also good with most other dogs and generally enjoys canine company.

She does sometimes have a little “happy tinkle” right after coming out of her crate. It’s excitement, not a house training issue, and it’s something that typically fades as dogs settle into a stable routine and environment.

Joycelyn will do best with a home that enjoys an energetic, affectionate dog and is happy to channel her enthusiasm into walks, playtime, and continued training. In return, she brings a lot of joy, a lot of laughs, and a lot of love.
