Meet Asha!

Asha is a joyful, spunky little girl around 1 year old, likely a Terrier mix (we see some Rat Terrier or Jack Russell in her!). With her adorable underbite, signature swishy walk, and nonstop zest for life, she’s impossible not to fall in love with.

At around 15 pounds, Asha is the perfect “big dog in a small body.” She’s energetic, playful, and always ready for fun—whether it’s a game of fetch, zooming around the yard, or wrestling with her favorite toys. She especially loves playing with other small dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy. Bigger dogs can feel a little intimidating at first, but with a proper introduction, she warms up nicely.

Asha is a smart girl, which means she has incredible potential to learn just about anything—but she’ll need structure, consistency, and engagement to help her shine. She would be an absolute star in agility or any activity that keeps her mind and body busy. She’s also a great candidate for hiking adventures!

She’s crate trained, potty trained, and does well in the home with supervision. Like many young pups, she still has a bit of a “puppy mouth” and can be vocal, but she’s eager to learn and just needs continued guidance as she grows.

After a day of play, Asha loves to wind down with cuddles and soft kisses. She’s still adjusting to city life after coming from the Central Valley, but she’s adaptable and settling in more each day.
