Violet is a tiny 7-pound, 3-year-old Chihuahua mix with the sweetest little soul. She came to us from the same hoarding situation as several of the other dogs in our care, including Orville.

When Violet first arrived, she was incredibly shy and unsure of the world around her. She had spent much of her life without the love, attention, and socialization every dog deserves. But underneath that timid exterior is a gentle, kind little dog who is learning that people can be safe and that life can be good.

Violet absolutely loves other dogs and finds confidence and comfort in their presence. She is slowly coming out of her shell and showing us more of her sweet personality every day.

This tiny girl is looking for a very special adopter—someone who understands that trust takes time and who will feel the incredible reward of watching a scared little dog blossom into the happy companion she was always meant to be.
