Twiggy has been with Beyond Rescue for a week now, and this tiny girl has completely stolen our hearts.

At just 9 pounds, Twiggy is a little bundle of sweetness. She is incredibly friendly, cuddly, and affectionate, and she absolutely loves being with her people. She has a soft, sweet disposition and is the kind of little dog who makes herself right at home wherever she goes.

Twiggy also does beautifully with other dogs and seems to enjoy having canine friends around. Her shelter paperwork lists her as a Poodle mix, although with that adorable scruffy little face, we can’t help wondering if there might be a bit of Miniature Schnauzer in her family tree too.

We’ve noticed that Twiggy has had some occasional urinary leaking, we’re hopeful that medication may help, and we’ll continue to monitor her as we get to know her better. We want to be upfront about this little issue while also saying that it certainly hasn’t stopped Twiggy from being her happy, affectionate self.

After a week with this sweet girl, we can tell you that Twiggy is pretty amazing. She is friendly, loving, cuddly, and just an all-around wonderful little companion.

We think someone is going to be very lucky to have this tiny sweetheart in their life.
