Trixie is a sweet, 5-year-old female Doodle mix (Morkie) at about 14 pounds. She was rescued from a shelter in 2022 and has settled into the good life.

Trixie is a classic doodle — affectionate, sensitive, and eager to bond with her people. She tends to attach quickly to her primary caregiver.  While she's a bit unsure around other dogs, she’s eager to meet them but has reservations once they are physically close.  Trixie has been the only dog in her household, so unsure how she'll behave with other dogs, or animals in the house.

She loves treats and is very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze.  Trixie sleeps in her crate every night and does not mind hopping into her crate midday, when human needs to head out for a few hours. 

She’ll also need consistent grooming to keep her coat healthy and mat-free. Trixie is a wonderful little companion who will blossom with love, routine, and a patient home.  Apply at gobeyondrescue.org
