Meet Rudy! Hes a year old and 60 pounds. He was DNA tested and is 50% Rottweiler, 50% boxer.

Besides being drop dead handsome, Rudy is exceptionally sweet and gentle. He is gaining confidence daily despite his disability (vision loss) and is showing off his playful, youthful energy. He’s an intelligent pup and has quickly learned how to avoid obstacles on his walks and in the house (including managing the stairs) not to mention he is fully house-trained.  He loves his walks, running in the park, playing tug of war, chewing his squeaky toys and figuring out his treat puzzle.  When not playing he is happy to snuggle on the couch and give kisses. He loves to meet people and has been great with other dogs. We think he would benefit in a home with another friendly playful dog for fun and companionship. (We do not know how he responds to cats.) Rudy is adaptable to new situations when appropriately supervised – he was a champ hiking and on our camping trip. He does have a mischievous side and will get into things when you are looking the other way (shoes, toilet paper rolls, yarn) including some counter surfing (we are working on that one). 

This amazing dog is an absolute love - he will steal your heart!
