Some dogs are just little rays of sunshine, and Pixie is one of them. At just 10 pounds, this sweet girl has a whole lot of love packed into her tiny frame, and her idea of a perfect day probably involves a sunny spot, a cozy lap, and being close to her favorite people.

Pixie is a friendly, affectionate little companion with a bit of an independent streak. She loves attention and a good cuddle, but she's not the type who needs to be glued to your side every minute. She's perfectly happy doing her own thing, too, which makes her a lovely little balance of affectionate and independent.

She walks nicely on leash, does wonderfully in her crate, and has shown us a sweet side with children at our adoption events. She happily hops into their laps to say hello and soak up some attention. Her foster home doesn't have children, so we can't say for certain how she'd be living with them full-time, but she's certainly been happy to meet her little admirers!

Pixie might enjoy having another small dog around, but she could also be perfectly content as your one-and-only. She's not asking for much. Just a loving home, a comfy place to curl up, and someone who appreciates the special kind of companionship that comes in a very small package.
