Courtesy Post – Meet Max 💙

Max is a 5-year-old, 65-lb Shepherd/Husky mix who has been through a lot. Within one month, he lost both his canine sibling and his beloved owner unexpectedly. Despite that heartbreak, Max remains a loyal, loving companion ready for a fresh start.

He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and recently examined by a veterinarian with no known health concerns. He has no known bite history. Max has done well with children ages 4–6 and currently lives peacefully with a Chihuahua.

Max can be reactive to other dogs on walks (especially larger dogs), but he’s already making great progress with redirection and guidance. He may feel anxious when left alone at first, though he settles once you’re gone.

Max would thrive in a stable, patient home willing to continue building his confidence. He’s a smart, devoted dog who deserves security and love.
