Meet Kylie!

This sweet young pup is estimated to be <1 years old and is about 7lbs.  She’s a very sweet girl who may be shy at first, but her softness really shines once she feels safe. Kylie was surrendered to a local shelter with 4 other small dogs and arrived very timid and scared of people. She has really started to blossom and is slowly still gaining more confidence.

She enjoys the calm company of other dogs sometimes showing signs of wanting play. She would do well with a calm confident sibling but also seems like she is fine doing he own thing, laying around with her comfort toy sloth which is adorable. She’s learning that the world isn’t so scary, one step at a time, and is currently practicing walking on leash. She does best with slow, short, leisurely walks where she can take her time and feel secure.

She is crate trained and potty trained in the backyard, making her a wonderful house companion. At home, she is incredibly sweet and gentle, and you can tell she wants nothing more than a peaceful place to belong, often following her foster around and asking for more pets. 

Because she can still get startled by big or sudden movements/noises she would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, calmer children who understand giving her space and patience. With a loving and patient family, she has so much potential to continue blossoming into a confident, devoted companion.
