MEET CHICAGO!

This sweet girl is about 4-5 years old, she was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t know her exact age. She is 61lbs, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Chicago loves people and will lean against your legs for pets, then turn and lick your hand if you stop petting her. Which is fine because she has velvety soft fur She’s very easy to walk on leash, just wants to trot along and smell things along the way. Gets some bursts of playful energy but wears out pretty quickly and then just wants to hang out near you.

She’s house trained and crate trained (although she is becoming a bit selective about when she will go in the crate). She would benefit from some work on basic training. Knows sit and down but doesn’t always listen. She has done well being left alone and has not had any accidents or chewed up anything.

The shelter Chicago came from said she loves every dog she meets. When on walks, she seems interested and not reactive to other dogs. The resident dog is not comfortable with her in the house. She would probably do well with older kids since she isn’t aware of her size and runs into you when playing sometimes.
