Meet Candace!
This sweet 2-year-old, 20-pound mix (possibly Australian Shepherd and Corgi?) is winning hearts left and right. A little shy at first, Candace warms up quickly—especially when there are walks, mealtime, or cuddles involved.

She’s been great with the other dogs in her foster home and even gets along with the resident cat. She may be housebroken, but might need a little more time to be fully reliable. The crate wasn’t her thing (she politely declined), but she’s been quiet and easygoing overall.

Candace is ready for a loving home where she can continue to build confidence and share her sweet, gentle spirit. Because she can be a bit timid with fast movements and loud noises, she’s not a match for a home with young children—she’ll thrive best in a calmer, more predictable environment.
