This beautiful 45-pound German Shepherd mix was pulled from a rural Central Valley shelter at the special request of the kennel staff, who couldn't stop talking about what a wonderful dog she is. When the people caring for dozens of dogs every day ask for one to be saved, you know she's something special.

BabyGirl is everything people love about shepherds—smart, loyal, eager to please, and deeply connected to her people. She loves toys, enjoys learning, and is always ready to join in on whatever adventure comes next. Her friendly personality makes her a joy to be around, and she gets along well with other dogs.

Sadly, BabyGirl appears to have spent much of her life having puppies rather than being someone's cherished companion. Now it's finally her turn to be loved, spoiled, and treated like the family member she deserves to be.
